Fuel prices in Spain recorded small declines on November 3, extending the easing that began before the All Saints’ Day holiday. Despite the latest drops, petrol and Diesel remain at elevated levels after weeks of high prices, with international tensions, limited diesel refining and domestic demand continuing to influence the market.

Unleaded 95 averaged €1.721 per litre, down 0.3 cents from the previous day. Unleaded 98 fell 0.2 cents to €1.893 per litre. Diesel A dropped 0.1 cents to €1.896 per litre, while Diesel A+ also fell 0.1 cents, to €1.988.

The reported averages for mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands were €1.101 per litre for autogas (LPG), unchanged from the previous day. Actual prices vary by service station, and the difference between more expensive and cheaper stations can exceed 15 cents per litre.

The figures also list maximum prices of €2.152 per litre for unleaded 95, €2.311 for unleaded 98, €2.106 for Diesel A and €2.199 for Diesel A+. The source attributes part of the price drivers pay to taxes, citing €0.472 per litre for petrol and €0.379 for diesel, and says VAT remains at 10% as a temporary measure.

The European crude benchmark Brent was reported at $106.92, with an exchange rate of $0.8930 per euro. These factors help shape the prices motorists encounter at the pump, though the small daily declines may prove temporary.
